Events & Meetups

Boulder Beta offers an opportunity for community members to get together in a casual, social atmosphere. Attendees will enjoy catching up with familiar friends and colleagues, meeting new people with like interests, and learning about emerging companies and products in the Boulder & Denver area. Beta will be held at a local venue on a regular basis (ie, monthly or every other month). We will feature about 6-8 companies at every event – each with their own “station” that other attendees can visit, letting eveyone meet the founders and see a demo of the products/services their companies are developing.

Silicon Flatirons Center

The Entrepreneurs Unplugged Series showcases the variety of individual career paths that can lead to successful entrepreneurial ventures, providing aspiring entrepreneurs with role models and mentors as they pursue their own ideas. Each program offers an opportunity for students, faculty, and community members to establish meaningful networks, thereby helping to galvanize entrepreneurism at the University and in the community.

Every month, Boulder New Tech Meetups hosted by OneRiot founder Robert Reich attract over 300 people to the CU Law School to see emerging businesses demonstrate their latest technology. From just 1,500 members at the beginning of 2010, the event now boasts more than 6,000 active participants and serves as a nerve center for area start-ups, attorneys, business professionals, investors, and others in the Front Range entrepreneurial community.

Ignite Boulder is a night of presentations with a twist. Presenting on a subject of their choice, speakers have exactly 5 minutes to teach something, enlighten us, or simply inspire — backed by 20 slides auto-advancing every 15 seconds. Quick, fun, and smart: we sell out the largest venues in Boulder.

Boulder Open Coffee Club is a group that meets every other Tuesday morning in the Atlas Purveyors coffee shop downtown to discuss technology and start-ups. Become a fan of their Facebook page for all the latest updates and make sure to wake up early enough to get a seat!
